AJ
CASSARELLA

For twelve years I’ve put autonomous robots to work in the world’s warehouses — building the solutions, deployment and customer success teams that make them pay off. Now I’m looking for the next one. Along the way, I’m writing Voyajes about where we’re going.

01What I do

// What I do

I taught machines to find
their own way.
Turns out it’s contagious.

I build the commercial and deployment engines behind autonomous material handling — the standards, the economics, and the teams that make robotics repeatable. Off the clock I’m reading, and turning what I find into Voyajes. Music taught me how to build something from a feeling; it’s on pause while words take the lead.

01

Autonomous systems

Solutions, deployment, and customer success for robotic fleets — from site survey to acceptance. I’ve cut cost-to-deploy 40% and scaled live fleets 150%.

02

Voyajes

Notes on technology, climate, creativity, and the road between them. Just getting started on Substack — early readers welcome.

03

Sound & music

Years of producing and DJing as Voyajer, released on Spotify and played around Denver. It shaped how I hear everything — on pause for now while writing takes the lead.

02 — About

The engineer who kept
wandering into the arts.

AJ Cassarella outdoors in the Colorado foothills

I’ve spent my career moving closer to how complex, physical work actually gets done. I’ve sat on both sides of the table in industrial automation — evaluating, justifying and buying material-handling systems, then selling, designing, deploying and supporting them. I build the processes that make robotics repeatable and profitable: standardized deployments, ROI models that survive customer scrutiny, and teams that scale.

Away from the warehouse floor, I run Voyajer Productions — an independent studio that started in music and is turning toward words. I read constantly, and most of what I write starts as something I read. Florida to Connecticut to Penn State, and now Denver — I care about climate and conservation, the outdoors, and making things that outlast the deadline.
